Detailed Description: A theoretical paradigm centered on cognition and concepts being controlled by (or heavily influenced by) language and linguistic inclusion or diversity. The most famous example given is that members of the Inuit tribe have a multitude of words for snow. While this is certainly driven by a need to describe different types of snow, this also enables people fluent in this language to think about snow in many different ways.
