Detailed Description: Interrogation technique in which the interrogator attempts to calm the subject to convince them that it is a safe environment to reveal information. While most Processing Limitation exploits attempt to increase Cognitive Workload, the Fear-Down Approach attempts to reduce Cognitive Workload to bring the target back into the "optimal zone" for performance (see Yerkes-Dodson Curve).
