Detailed Description: Misdirection may be employed in multiple ways. A magician technique of directing attention toward or away from something to facilitate or set up a magic trick. Dark Pattern tactic that directs the user's attention toward one thing with the intention of slipping something else by them without their notice. Misdirection is also used by magicians to guide audience toward one thing and to ignore another thing.
